WellSky is thrilled to once again participate in the annual Kansas City Developer Conference (KCDC). KCDC 2022 was held August 8-10, with two full conference days and a post-conference workshop day. Each year the conference draws a large audience of new and experienced developers, architects, UI/UX designers, QA professionals, PMs, and technology managers from Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and beyond.
WellSky is a platinum-level sponsor for the event.
WellSky teammates are actively involved in the KCDC. Tom Walton, engineering director at WellSky, is one of the conference organizers.
“I work with the conference because I believe in the mission and the great things we’re doing for the community in KC and the broader Midwest. I think it’s a very valuable opportunity for WellSky teammates, demonstrating that we are part of and care about the community,” Tom said.
Scott Carter, principal software engineer at WellSky, presented on 8/9/2022, on the topic of “Improving Reliability, Flexibility, and Scalability with Event-Driven Architecture”.
