Teammate Spotlight: Meet Shirley Moya
At WellSky, we know our greatest strength comes from our people. This week, we're excited to shine a light on Shirley Moya, a dedicated Technical Program Manager based in Mesa, Arizona. Shirley's decade-long journey with us showcases consistent growth, adaptability, and a deep commitment to our shared goals.
A career marked by growth and adaptability
Shirley's journey with WellSky began 10 years ago on the support and QA teams at Curaspan, which later became part of NaviHealth. When WellSky acquired the company, Shirley's enthusiasm for new challenges was clear. She transitioned into a full-time QA role before taking on crucial release management responsibilities. These experiences paved the way for her current role in Technical Program Management.
Today, Shirley plays an essential role in coordinating efforts across our Connected Networks engineering teams. She also facilitates change processes with WellSky Cloud. Shirley has become a trusted partner across teams thanks to her knack for adapting and leading through big changes.
Making an impact and pursuing excellence
One of Shirley's proudest moments at WellSky was receiving the Q3 Excellence Award for R&D Quality. This recognition highlighted the consistent effort and collaborative spirit she brings to her work every day. "Working with new teams and navigating change can be challenging," Shirley said, "but I always come in with a positive attitude. I make sure I am acquainted with the team and their processes so I can best support them."
That mix of positivity and change-readiness has earned Shirley recognition across the org. Now, she’s adding even more to her toolkit by working toward her CAPM certification.
Beyond work: Shirley's passions
Off the clock, Shirley prioritizes time with her husband, their kids, and their dog, Mookie. They keep things fun with movie marathons, game nights, and outdoor strolls. And if there’s a new recipe to try? Shirley is up for a culinary adventure.
Fun fact: It turns out Shirley's skills extend beyond program management, so if you're looking for someone who can coordinate complex programs and a dance routine, Shirley is your person. She has a secret talent for salsa, merengue, and hip-hop dance!
Why WellSky is the right place for Shirley
For Shirley, her positive experience at WellSky comes down to our people, culture, and flexibility. "I love how we all work together and respect each other," she said. "And being able to work remotely—while still feeling connected—has been a huge plus."
Her straightforward advice to anyone thinking about joining WellSky? "Apply - you won't regret it."
