WellSky featured at annual InnerSource Summit

WellSky is committed to service and giving back to the technical community. Recently, Russell Rutledge, senior director of InnerSource at WellSky, presented at the 2022 InnerSource Summit. InnerSource is the practice of running internal projects via open-source practices. At WellSky, this means that all code repositories are visible and open to contribution from across the company. InnerSource enables fixes and features to come in quickly from those who need them without the wait time of a central team.
The 2022 InnerSource Summit was organized by the InnerSource Commons, an international non-profit organization dedicated to the spread and education of InnerSource in the technical industry. Russ was a founding member and director of the foundation. At the summit, Russ presented WellSky’s experience using InnerSource to deliver user-facing functionality across five business units.
